SBI like many other banks tried to get with the world and launched its online banking app, YONO, just last year. While the initiative of the public bank was good, its execution wasn’t well thought out. Having been a customer of the bank, I had high hopes but was utterly disappointed.
A banking app is supposed to make banking swift but somehow SBI managed to turn it into a cumbersome activity. The app was very difficult to operate since it was very slow and had a lot of glitches. My wife tried to open an account on the app but couldn’t after several attempts.
