Aadhar card has become the quintessential identification proof. It acts both as identification and address proof as well to open savings bank account, get a new phone connection etc.
However, after you make your Aadhar card, you have to change or update a few details on your Aadhar card. As many individuals are actively moving across the country for work or studies, it has become important for individuals to update their Aadhar address.
Step 1: Visit UIDAI’s website and click on ‘Locate an enrollment center’
Step 2: You can search enrollment centres by entering the State/Pin Code/Search Box option
Step 3: Enter the required details such as District, Sub District, Village etc.
Step 4: If you want to Search only permanent centres, check the permanent centre box.
Step 5: Enter the Captcha code and press ‘Locate a Centre’ button
Step 6: Next, you will see the Relevant Aadhar Card Enrollment Centres.
You can check whether it is bank or post office, address, the number of enrolments and updates done in the last 30 days.
Also, don’t forget to carry all the required original documents when you visit an enrolment centre.
Individuals can locate a nearby Aadhaar card enrolment centre through the state option.
Step 1: Select State, District, Sub district, Village from the drop down list.
Step 2: Tick the permanent centre box if you want to want to know the permanent centres.
Step 3: Enter the security code and tap on ‘Locate a Centre’ button.
Results will be displayed on the screen along with the centre’s address, contact person, mobile number, last update date etc.
Individuals can also use the PIN code to know the nearby enrolment centres.
Step 1: Enter the 6 digit Post code
Step 2: Tick the ‘show only permanent centres’ if you want to know the permanent centres.
Step 3: Enter the Captcha Verification code.
Step 4: Click on Locate a Centre.
Next, you will be shown enrolment centres in that specific code. You can note down the address and other details to update your Aadhaar or enrol for a new Aadhar.
